The Micro Butterfly is a very small R/C plane that can be flown outdoors even in breezy conditions, or indoors in a large indoor area (like a gymnasium, or theatre, or indoor tennis courts or hockey arena). It flies pretty fast. It has a rudder and throttle control and it can be flown with some precision. A great design by Joe Malinchak and probably a little help from Henry Pasquet.
I think most of these builds were done in Sri Lanka but they are testing pretty good.
Back in the day, ALL Plantraco RTF planes were test flown individually, and if any trim adjustments were needed, I would do them personally. I did this for more than 10,000 RTF models. I have not done that in a long time.
As I recall, in a 2 hour session I could test fly checkout as many as 90 planes. And I used to have to put the boxes in my small car and drive 10 minutes to a friendly church gymnasium to do it :)
