Before your first drive

Drive on tables and desks.Clean, smooth surfaces keep the axles free. Carpet, floors and outdoors pick up dust that can jam the mechanism.
Charge it first.If it won’t start out of the box, give it 10 minutes on the USB cable. A full charge takes 20–40 minutes.
Keep it dry.Not for very far underwater! Keep your ZenWheels dry at all times.
Mind the range.Bluetooth reaches about 30 feet — farther than you can see a car this small anyway.

How do I control the car?

With the free ZenWheels app. Pair your phone to the car over Bluetooth and it will prompt you to download the app — or search “ZenWheels” in the App Store.

What setup is needed before I drive?

Download the app, turn the car on, and connect to it like any Bluetooth device. That is all. If the car won’t turn on, charge it first.

How do I turn it on?

Press the small dark red button on the bottom of the car. It clicks when pressed right, and the car flashes its lights and makes a sound. Nothing? Charge it for 10 minutes and try again.

Which phones work?

The app is available for iPhone and iPad.

Does it need batteries?

No. A rechargeable battery is built in. You charge it with the included micro USB cable, and there is no need to drain it first — top it up any time.

How do I know it’s charged?

The blue light on the car turns off. The app also shows battery % in the top right, and the car shuts down on its own when power runs low.

Do I need to plug anything into my phone?

No. It uses the Bluetooth already built into your phone — no dongle.

Can I drive more than one car at once?

Yes, many cars can drive in the same room with virtually no limit. One car per phone, so invite your friends.

What is the Trim setting for?

Small differences in assembly can make a car drift slightly. Trim lets you adjust it so it drives straight when you apply throttle.

Do the sounds come from the app or the car?

Both. Your phone plays them, and so does a tiny speaker inside the car. Both volumes are adjustable in settings.

Why “Zen” Wheels?

Think remote controlled cars about the size of Hot Wheels cars, for super skilled, Zen-like drivers. A ten-minute drive around your desk might count as a mild relaxation session — at Plantraco we think play should be part of everyone's life.
